Free donuts, cake and pie recipes!

 

1. Donuts:

 Ingredients: 

 - 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour 

 - ½ cup granulated sugar 

 - 2 tsp baking powder 

 - 1 tsp salt

 - ½ tsp ground nutmeg 

 - 1 cup milk 

 - 2 eggs, beaten 

 - 2 tbsp melted butter 

 - Oil 

for frying Instructions: 

 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. 

 2. In another bowl, mix milk, beaten eggs, and melted butter.

 3. Gradually add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. 

 4. On a floured surface, roll out dough to ½ inch thickness and cut with a donut cutter. 

 5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or heavy-bottomed pot to 375°F (190°C). 

 6. Fry donuts a few at a time until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side. 

 7. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. 8. Optionally, glaze or coat with cinnamon sugar while still warm.

 2. Pie (Apple Pie): 

Ingredients:

 - 1 double pie crust (homemade or store-bought)

 - 6 cups thinly sliced peeled apples (such as Granny Smith) 

 - ¾ cup granulated sugar 

 - 2 tbsp all-purpose flour 

 - 1 tsp ground cinnamon 

 - ¼ tsp ground nutmeg 

 - 1 tbsp lemon juice 

 - 1 tbsp butter, cut into small pieces

 Instructions: 

 1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

 2. In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice.

 3. Roll out half of the pie crust and line a 9-inch pie dish. 

 4. Pour apple mixture into the crust and dot with butter. 

 5. Roll out remaining pie crust and place over the filling. Seal edges and cut slits in the top crust to vent. 

 6. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.

 7. Let cool before serving.

 3. Cake (Vanilla Cake): 

Ingredients: 

 - 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour 

 - 2 ½ tsp baking powder 

 - ½ tsp salt 

 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened 

 - 2 cups granulated sugar 

 - 4 eggs

 - 1 tbsp vanilla extract

 - 1 cup milk 

 Instructions: 

 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans. 

 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. 

 3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 

 4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract. 

 5. Gradually add flour mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.

 6. Divide batter evenly between prepared cake pans.

 7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

 8. Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely before frosting. Feel free to customize these recipes to your liking by adding different flavors or toppings!
